Grants are available for voluntary and community groups, clubs, charities, schools and individuals based in Aylesbury towards education, one-off projects, relief in need and for the general benefit of Aylesbury town residents.
- The objectives of the charity are the provision of almshouses, educational funding for persons under 25 and relief in need.
As a guide, grants paid totalled £742,086 in the financial year ending 31 December 2015.
Voluntary and community groups, clubs, charities, schools and individuals based in Aylesbury town can apply.
Applications for educational grants must be for students under 25 years.
The scheme cannot fund items that are covered by another organisation under statutory obligations.
At a wider level, grants are made to the LEA for Aylesbury schools to fund equipment in addition to that which can be provided by the authority.
Relief in Need grants are awarded to persons suffering need, hardship or distress.
