Who we are?
Leap is the brand name of the Bucks & MK Sport and Activity Partnership, we’re a social enterprise, and one of 43 Active Partnerships nation-wide, that form a key element of the delivery system for sport across England.
We here at Leap aim to improve the lives of residents across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes through physical activity and sport. Through our work, whether it be leading activity, providing resources or supporting clubs, instructors, coaches and volunteering we help people be more active and are committed to making a difference to the health, wellbeing and success of the county.
Boredom Buster is just one of the ways we are committed to making a difference to you and our county.

How the activity packs have made a difference to families in the County
Back in the Summer 2020, with schools having been shut since March, the need to help families stay active and have fun at the same time became a main focus and so the Boredom Buster Project was born.
During the Summer and Winter, Leap had been joined in funding the packs by partner organisations The Clare Foundation, Latimer Hope Trust, the Rothschild Foundation and the Milton Keynes European City of Sport (ECoS) programme. The support of these partners had enabled 2100 packs to be distributed throughout Milton Keynes and across wider Buckinghamshire.
The activity bags were a huge success with families across the county, bringing them together and having fun creating games with the equipment and cards that were supplied.
