How the activity packs have made a difference to families in the County
Back in the Summer, with schools having been shut since March, the need to help families stay active and have fun at the same time became a main focus and so the Boredom Buster Project was born.
Leap had been joined in funding the packs by partner organisations The Clare Foundation, Latimer Hope Trust, the Rothschild Foundation and the Milton Keynes European City of Sport (ECoS) programme. The support of these partners had enabled 400 packs to be distributed across Milton Keynes and a further 400 across wider Buckinghamshire.
The activity bags were a huge success with families across the county, bringing them together and having fun creating games with the equipment that was supplied.
