Project Officer vacancy

Salary £17,688 – £19,632

Leap  is a well established  Active Partnership with an excellent reputation both locally and nationally. We have a simple aim to enhance peoples lives through physical activity and sport. In order to do this, it is vital to ensure that their experience of physical activity and sport is positive and that they are enthused and inspired to continue participating. The Children & Young People agenda plays a pivotal role in doing this and in recent years, Sport England has recognised the importance of PE and School Sport by way of increased investment into the Active Partnerships nationally.

We are therefore seeking an enthusiastic and committed project officer to support our ongoing work in developing Satellite Clubs, School Games and School Sport Premium funding and Sports Awards. You will sit within the Children and Young Peoples team to enhance our programmes  and help maintain the effective running of the already established programmes in place across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

At Leap we have a great team, committed partners and a vibrant School network as well as strong support and financial backing from Sport England, national partners and our host Aylesbury Vale District Council. The partnership is well placed to enhance lives through physical activity and sport in line with our 2018-2022 organisational strategy.

If you are a dedicated and enthused individual with experience and or knowledge of the sport and physical activity development environment, great communication and organisational skills, and a sound knowledge of basic IT software and databases, we’d love to hear from you.

The office is currently based in Aylesbury but will be relocating to Aston Clinton within the year.
