About us

We are the Sport England funded Active Partnership for Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes. A social enterprise, our role is to support, influence and improve opportunities for people living in Bucks & MK to be active through movement, physical activity, and sport.

We influence and work with a wide range of local organisations including schools, sports clubs, and charities to ensure those people not currently accessing/benefitting from physical activity can get involved.

Leap has a passionate belief that everyone can improve the quality of their life through involvement in movement, physical activity, and sport. Our partnership’s ambition is to inspire and connect people and organisations to raise aspiration and remove the barriers to an active and healthy lifestyle.

About the role

Leap is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and dedicated individual to join the team.

Within the role, the officer will be responsible for supporting Leap’s vision and mission to remove the barriers to moving by challenging inequalities and improving lives through physical activity and sport.

The post holder will work on the organisations Children & Young People and Coaching programmes. Examples of these programmes could be, leadership and volunteeringhelping coaches improve and the County School Games events.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the impact movement, physical activity and sport can have on improving lives.

If you are a dedicated and enthused individual with great communication and organisational skills, and a sound knowledge of IT software and databases, we’d love to hear from you.

Interview dates: Interviews will take place the week commencing 19th September.
