MK Parks Trust
Owning and caring for over 5,000 acres of river valleys, woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas alongside the main roads – about 25% of the new Milton Keynes city area. The Parks Trust website provides lots of information, including an events listing.
Free, weekly, 5km timed runs that take place around the world, Parkrun’s are open to everyone, free, and easy to take part in. They encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience!
